About Us
2009 NESPL Specialty Awards
Since we're a fairly new competition organization here
in New England and have no active membership and no
regionals or Finals events we want to do something special for the dedicated competitors in 2009. We're going to offer
awards to the Top Team/Club and to the most improved
Amateur and Stock class competitors. Here are the rules
for these awards:
Top Team/Club Participation
Most Improved Score
Each team or club that competes during the 2009 season
will be given points towards this award. Each team that
competes will receive 1 point for each member that
competes and will receive 1 bonus point if a member
places in the top 3 at each event.

Example: Five team members enter in the SPL event means
5 points, if one or two of these members finish in the top 3 that will give this team a total of 6 points towards this award.

Teams must have members attending a minimum of 7 NESPL
events to qualify for this award. If during the course of the season a competitor switches teams, the points accrued will stay with the team that competitor was on when the points were earned.

In order to collect points, each member MUST put the name of their team on the registration form, if there is no name, they do NOT get the points, No Exceptions.

The final day to gain points for this will be the day they are handed out.
Each competitor that competes in either the Amatuer classes, or the Stock classes will have a chance to qualify for this award.
This is how we will determine who earns this award.
We will record the SPL scores for each competitor at each event and the competitor with the biggest gain by the end of the season will win this award.

Competitor must attend a minimum of 7 NESPL events during the 2009 season to qualify for this award. To keep it fair, competitor will be allowed to upgrade their system as they see fit, but will be limited to advancing one class. If an upgraded system will put a competitor higher than one class they will have to requalify by competing in 7 events with their current system. Advancing one class means that a competitor may move from Stock 1 to Stock 2, but not from Stock 1 to Stock 3 or 4. The final day to gain points for this will be the same day they are handed out.
